What is a Hooley?
To define a Hooley (pronounced Hoo-lee) is, you have to understand what makes a great Hooley:
Craic (Crack) Gaelic for a good time.
Ceili: (Cay-LEE) An Irish party with plenty of singing and dancing.
Feis: (Fesh) An Irish dance event.
In other words, a hooley occurs when you get too much of a good thing! Join us for Irish music, dancing, crafts, and fun for the entire family at the Halfway to St. Patrick's Day Hooley on Saturday, September 20th. The event will take place at Casbeer's at the Church, 1150 South Alamo St, about two blocks south of the Beethoven. You can't miss it, it really is a church!
